You will need to document your research journey. This means taking notes in whatever format works best for you and periodically assessing what you've learned and where you are now headed. You will need to list the full bibliographic information for each source that you look at. While a journey could potentially go on indefinitely, at some point, you will need to stop researching and start writing. You can stop researching once you've:

1) Exhausted your initial list of questions and
2) Are able to answer Guzmán's question about the opposing side and
3) Have read or viewed at least six sources and
4) Have found at least two of those sources from the PSU Library

You will need to provide a road map of your research journey. This does not mean simply summarizing or handing in your notes. You will need to describe:

1) What you initially thought about your issue when you wrote your first draft?
2) What assumptions you had identified?
3) How your thinking has changed (if it did)?
4) How you got there?
5) What you've learned about the opposing position?
6) How you will attempt to find common ground?
