Question: Write a clarifying statement for your top five prioritized values. Answer the question, "What does this value really mean to me?" If you were living that value perfectly, what would your behaviour be like and how would you describe it?

Write one value per bullet with a simple clarifying statement in the form of an affirmation. Each statement should be written from the first person ("I" statement) as an affirmation, in the present tense as if it is already happening. These can also incorporate your instrumental values. For example, a correctly written clarifying paragraph for the value of good health might sound like this: "I am healthy and strong. My body and mind function perfectly at all times. I treat myself with respect. I eat well; I get plenty of exercise, sufficient rest, and manage my stress in excellent ways. My mind and body now function perfectly."
