For many of the species groups in this course, and in particular algae, there is the possibility you could be introducing an entirely new product. For this reason, much of aquaculture product development, sales, and marketing includes information on how to prepare different food dishes or possible uses for the product. Many times the goal of this fact sheet is to educate the consumer on the product and ways it can be incorporated.
