Olivia is a lesbian from Uganda. In high school, she fell in love and began a secret relationship with another female student. When Olivia's cousin discovered the relationship, he told her entire family, who brought a stranger into their home to rape her while they watched. Olivia did not seek protection from the police because homosexuality is illegal in Uganda. Olivia fled to the United States.
