Richmond is 7 miles north of Berkeley. Oakland is about 6 miles south of Berkeley. You will be a teacher in this area. Tell me how you see yourself making a difference in the lives of students with so many strikes against them from the start. No one has a fool-proof answer, every little bit is a help. What comes to mind as a way to improve the educational outcome of students facing these challenges?
