Question: you are a real estate agent and broker and are discussing an arrangement with me to sell my home. You see the for sale by owner sign in my yard and since you know me, you decide to ask if I will list my house with you. I say I will, but will not give you (the broker) an exclusive right to sell, but will give you an exclusive agency which will allow me to sell my home without paying a commission.
