You have likely observed behaviors that you don't understand. For instance, maybe you have observed couples keeping their finances separate, and you don't understand why. Maybe you have friends who complain that they don't have time to clean their houses, and yet they shy away from booking cleaning services. Jot down the some observations similar to the above(but not these) that don't make sense to you. Then, select 2 observations to explain in depth.

For each observation:
- Indicate why it is perplexing to you (e.g., is it different from how you behave, or does it seem irrational or contrary to people's best interests)
- Consider a few reasons for why this behavior is occurring, or what might be going on.
Course materials and readings provide a wealth of theories and arguments for explaining
consumer behavior (like behavioral psychology concepts like endowment theory, prospect theory, context and framing effects.).
- For each of these potential reasons, give a few statements about the implications. If your theory about the underlying reason is true, what would this tell you about consumer psychology more broadly? What conclusions could you draw?
