One of the biggest problems confronting modern Americans is the so-called "information bubble" - the idea that people can use the technology that they have to filter out what they don't want to see, exposing them to biased reports and leaving them totally ignorant of some subjects. (Example: If I'm a Democrat and only read news aimed at Democrats, I'm receiving only biased material I'm likely to agree with, and if I filter out international news in favor of sports and entertainment, I won't have any idea what's going on in the world at large.) Given that technology is only becoming more prevalent and information easier to filter, what would you propose to increase American information literacy?
