H is a 50 yo who presents to your clinic with a lower right leg wound. He was working on building a fence around his yard 3 days ago when a piece of wire escaped his hold and scratched his leg. Since that time, the scratch has become red and swollen. A small amount of purulent discharge is coming out of the wound. After obtaining a culture, what would be your initial treatment?
