PART ONE
1a. Are creativity and innovation random, spontaneous activities?
1b. And can we plan to be innovative?
2. Should we pursue every thought or creative idea that comes to mind?
3a. What's the relationship between problem-solving and being creative?
3b. Can you be creative in the absence of a problem?
PART TWO
In terms of the resources associated with this concept of innovation and the creative process, it is suggested that we can construct a "process", an organized and repeatable series of steps/goals/activities, that will help find creative solutions and bring out our inherent creativity.
Please outline the process for innovation that is suggested in the IDEO VIDEO https://youtu.be/izjhx17NuSE?si=FYiV-dei39Xwm5uQ (the IDEO shopping cart design process)... In other words, I'm basically just asking you to identify the sequence in which they are doing different things and why they are doing them.
Note, what is their ultimate source of information?
Who do they look to in order to get informed about the problems they are solving?
PART THREE
Once you have identified and outlined the process, answer the following questions:
Do you agree that this methodology is sensible, are you comfortable trying it?
What would be your approach to managing a team?
How would you support them to be their creative best?
