Question: I am trying to use the three-point estimation to calculate the ideal estimate value for a project. I have the most likely costs for each task but I don't know how to determine the optimistic and pessimistic values. For example, the most likely cost for an overall project is $22,300. What would be the optimistic and pessimistic values and what's the calculation to get those numbers?
