Each genotype is represented equally in both sexes, and each can be distinguished by eye color. Calculate the OBSERVED allele and genotype frequencies. Calculate the EXPECTED genotype frequencies (given the observed allele freqs) and then determine (by eye is fine) whether or not the locus is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. B. Now suppose you had discarded half the A1A1 flies in the experimental population above and allowed the remaining individuals to randomly mate. What would be the genotype frequencies among their offspring? If there are 250 offspring, how many individuals would be in each class?
