Before the beginning of the soccer season, a high school senior, and her parents, signed a contract which stated that all athletes were to refrain from drinking alcohol for the duration of the soccer season. Anyone found in violation of the contract would be kicked off the team. The student referred to above is a high-profile athlete, guaranteed to receive an athletic scholarship to one of the best schools in the country. Midway through the soccer season, her parents find out that she has a severe drinking problem and has been drinking during the soccer season. Should the parents bring this information to the attention of her soccer coach, risking her expulsion from the team, thus putting into jeopardy a collegiate soccer career?
