Case Study: The Missing Jacket

Rod is a Captain Waiter at a prestigious resort in Ilocos Norte. He started as an on-call waiter and because of his dedication through the years he rose from the ranks to his present position after 10 years. One lunchtime a guest went down to inquire about his brown jacket which he left behind at the backrest of his seat during breakfast. When Rod asked around, no one of the service staff said they noticed it. There was no CCTV camera at that time. The guest said he was sure he left it there and wanted it back. When the guest left, Rod started accusing the staff of stealing and promised no charges will be made if it will be returned to his office by 3:00 pm of that day. By 6:00 pm, no one has returned the jacket or admitted to the theft.
