Question

Ketoconazole is a drug metabolizing enzyme inhibitor. It inhibits CYP3A4. Drug X is an anticoagulant that is 50% metabolized by CYP 3A4 and 50% metabolized by CYP2D6. There are no other major elimination pathways for Drug X. predict what will happen to the Bioavailability, AUC, half-life, and Clearance if a patient heterozygous for CYP2D6*4 takes Drug X concurrently with Ketoconazole for a long period of time.
