If a piece of cadmium with mass 65.6 g and a temperature of 100.0°C is dropped into 25.0 cm3 of water at 23.0°C, what will be the final temperature of the system? The density of water at 23°C is 0.9978 g/mL , the specific heat capacity of water is 4.184 J g-1 K-1 , and the specific heat capacity of cadmium is 0.2311 J g-1 K-1 .
