An Air capacitor consisting of two closely spaced parallel plates has a capacitance of 1000 pF. The charge on each plate is 1 micro C. What is the potential difference between the plates. If the charge is kept constant what will be the potential difference between the plates if the seperation is doubled. How much work is required to double the seperation.
