Question - Jane charges a markup of 21% on all the projects she gets for her small Interior Designing and Decorating company. She recently received a task to decorate the dining tables of a wedding hall. She estimates that she will need 30 sets of colored glassware, sprig of herbs and table lamps at a cost of $43 per set. After agreeing to the price using her normal pricing formula, the client saw the preparations and demanded a table runner for all 30 tables at no extra cost to the client. If each table runner costs Jane $6 what will be her percentage margin for this project? What is the percent?
