Alternatively, every state has a range of amazing entrepreneurship-themed events happening all the time. The intent of this exercise it to get you connected with people outside of your immediate surroundings (in-person, not online). For Option 2 of this assignment attend an in-person startup event (taking at least 1 photograph to document your attendance), and write a 1-page reflection on your experience.
This link - provides a fairly comprehensive list of events. You are not limited solely to these listings, but ask me if you're not sure whether or not an event would count towards the assignment. Note that the event you attend must be in-person, online events do not count. After attending, complete a 1-page, single-spaced reflection that answers the following questions in narrative form, and make sure to include at least 1 photo to document your attendance:
What was the event? When did it happen? Where did it take place? Who was the organizer? Approximately how many people were there? Describe what happened. What does it have to do with entrepreneurship and/or innovation?
What were you feeling and why?
Why do you think this event took place - what do you think was the intent of the event?
Did you find the event positive or negative, useful or helpful?
What did you learn from the experience?
