The work must be something written by the chosen person "Thomas Hobbes", but only be a sample of the historical work and include only a few pages of writing. Make sure the writing deal with the topic of Empiricism.

Peer reviewed and academic sources should be used. for the analysis of his work. After reading his work answer these questions; What were the main points of the writing?

What was the differences and similarities between what you read and what was written about him in the textbook? Based on your own views of psychology, how does the author's viewpoint fit into your current understanding of psychology?

The textbook states, that Hobbes followed the tradition of William of the Ocean and Francis Bacon. Thomas Hobbes is also referred to as the founder of British Empiricism. Hobbes was educated at Oxford and was friends with Galileo and Descartes.

He also served as Bacon's secretary for a short time.

Hobbes had a puritan tradition, but also had an abundance of drunkenness, wantonness,gaming, and other such vices. Hobbes lived a long productive and influential life.

Thomas believed the humans as machines and could be understood by using the techniques of geometry.

After visiting Galileo in 1635, Hobbes was convinced that the universe consisted only of matter and motion, and that both can be understood in terms of mechanistic principles.

Hobbes choose the deductive method of Galileo and Descartes. With Hobbes, we have the first serious attempt to apply the ideas and techniques of Galileo to the study of humans.

Hobbes primary interest was politics. This analysis should be written in APA format. 12-point New Roman with running head. There should be a title page in APA format, page number to the top right corner.

It should be double spaced and free of grammar error. Title page should be in APA format as well.
