Problem: Being able to regulate your arousal is also huge for being in the game, notice how the word "regulation" was put into use. This is simply because arousal/ anxiety will not go away, As said in the book "It's not the case of getting rid of the butterflies, it's a question of getting them to fly in formation." What we can do instead of trying to get rid of it is use it to our advantage, it is known that having mild anxiety levels can end up increasing your overall performance towards something and make you more focused than you would with no anxiety. So being able to relax and use your arousal with you instead of against you will make you a better/ clutch player.
