Hello Class, My Name is Miatta ,

As an advanced human services professional practitioner currently working with the Department of Disability Services, my career aspirations revolve around making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. I have chosen human services as a field because I am passionate about advocating for and supporting vulnerable populations.

In my current role, I have already made a positive impact by developing and implementing programs and services that cater to the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. I have also worked closely with families and caregivers to provide them with the necessary support and resources. Additionally, I have been actively involved in policy development and have advocated for inclusive practices within the department.

Looking ahead, I envision my alumni video at the end of my master's journey showcasing the transformative projects I have initiated and the positive changes I have brought about in the field of disability services. As a leader, I would continue to champion inclusivity and advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

I would be involved in various projects aimed at improving accessibility, promoting independent living, and empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential. This may include collaborating with community organizations to create employment opportunities, developing training programs for professionals in the field, and working towards creating inclusive educational environments.
