Refer to the article "Correlates of Recovery Among Older Adults After Major Abdominal Surgery" by M. L. Zalon (2005).  Answer the following questions pertaining to this article.

a) What statistical methods did the researchers report using in analyzing the results of their research? 

b) What are the experimental units in this study?

c) What was the total initialsample size for this study?  How many subjects did they obtain complete data on during the study period?

k) In all of the regression models fit by the author, which independent variable appears to be the best predictor of functional status and/or self-perception of recovery?  Justify your answer.
