To better gauge how concepts are going over in this deep-thinking, theory-focused course, I like to put out a call for the "muddiest point" in the previous week's Module. Some of you may use this technique in your own instruction. Essentially, this is a means of extracting quickly from you the parts of the lecture, scholarly readings, and discussions that seemed (or still seem) most unclear to you, upon reflection. This helps me to know where to address additional "murky" areas of content.

If you feel so inclined, please briefly respond to this DQ with your thoughts to the questions below.

1. In one sentence, what did you learn in Module 1?

2. What was the "muddiest point" of concepts covered in Module 1?

3. Is there a topic you'd like to know more about (e.g., additional resources, articles)?
