Case: Although all research designs have strengths as well as limitations, there is value in conducting systematic research to explore problems and answer questions. For this discussion, the class will be divided into groups. You will only have access to the posts for your assigned group throughout the week. Each student should find an article, website, blog, etc. (Internet sources are acceptable for this assignment) about a particular individual's position or experience with a topic related to this course (e.g., assessment, diagnosis, treatment of psychological disorders in children/adolescents). The individual might be someone who has been diagnosed with one of the disorders, a parent, or a professional. As an example, there are many parents who have shared their experiences having their children diagnosed and treated for various mental health disorders.
