2. If your reflections suggest that a perfectly level playing field is more a myth than a reality, is it still worth while to try to promote fair play? In other words, should we try to make games as fair as we can? What specifically, can be done to create the most level playing fields possible?

3. One recent effort to promote fairness involves using new methods to reverse bad calls made by referees or umpires. Challenges and video replays of contested calls are now permitted in the NFL, in NCAA football, in MLB, and in other sports. Do you think these high-technology methods for promoting fairness are good practices? Is fairness worth pursuing at all costs, or should it be weighted against other game values? Provide the reasoning for your answers.
