Case Reflection

Consider this married couple with husband (Bob) 32 and wife (Lynn) 23. They have three children: a daughter, 7.5; a son, 5; and a son, 2. DCFS is involved in an "H" sequence investigation. Bob has a FSIQ of 80 and Lynn a FSIQ of 68. The daughter has been reported (again) as coming to school dirty and with a distinct odor. She is said to have average intelligence for a second-grade student. The two boys are seen as being failure to thrive and possibly developmentally delayed. This family is on its eighth sequenced investigation. When their daughter was born, Bob would have been 24 or 25 and Lynn 15.
