The general manager of a small engine part manufacturerlocated in Decatur, Georgia, tells Tom his logistics manager that he needs to expedite a shipment of product (1 pallet, about 4'X4'X4' weighing about 1200 pounds) to San Bernardino, California. It needs to get there in the next 3 days or we'll incur a penalty from the customer per the terms of our purchasing agreement.
