Question: Jackie, Jennifer and Jesse are active members of a Texas general partnership called "Swim City". The Houston-based partnership manufactures, sells and installs outdoor swimming pools in the states of Louisiana and Texas. The partners want to continue to be active in the management and to expand the business into other states as well. They need additional money to expand their business and would like to bring in more partners who would make capital contributions to the business. At some point, they would like to "go public" and become a publicly traded company.
