2) EMS just brought in a 36yo with a fractured femur. The patient is whaling in pain, screaming "it's a 15 out of 10". BP 162/78, HR 115, RR 32, o2 95%, temp 99.6F. What type of acid/base imbalance is this patient at risk for?

3) Your patient is a 12-year-old presenting with nausea and vomiting. You depress the right lower quadrant during palpation. When you remove your hand, the patient screams in pain. How would you document this type of pain?
