Assignment: Using Public Data Sets Report

This assignment directs you to analyze the uses for health data with the purpose of improving health care policies and operations. Raw data doesn't say much to most people, but through data analysis, information can be extracted and used to "tell the story" of a particular patient population.

Select or generate a dataset that is meaningful to you and your interests in the health care industry by using one of the links below:

2. HealthData.gov/Datasets

Evaluate the dataset and determine how valuable it is for improving health care operations or policies. This will require the creation of a chart or graph to interpret the data.
