Human Development and healthcare across the lifespan : INTRO TO HEALTHCARE

A big part of the consideration for human development in healthcare is using that information to communicate well with people of different age groups. For example, the way a medical assistant at a family practice would greet and take the temperature of a 3 year old would be very different than of a 33 year old.

We all have age groups that we have been around or worked with more - let's compile our experiences together. Choose an age group from the Human Development Lecture - what tips do you have either from personal or professional experience for communicating effectively with or making someone feel comfortable from that age group? Try to pick a different age group than what has already been posted if possible.
