Question: Headquartered in Lexington, KY, "Big Ass Fans" produces high volume, low speed (HLVS) ceiling fans. The company primarily targets mfg. facilities looking for airflow solutions. Big Ass Fans' typical customers unusually consider installing a conventional fan that needs to be replaced every 5 years. However BAF knows that its fans will last 20 years and its superior HVLS tech will significantly lower its customers' annual heating and cooling bills. Given this info, on what timeline should BAF calculate its true economic value (TEV) for potential customers
