Case Study: There are times when a policy is developed and enacted only to find that there were unforeseen health consequences that resulted from it. An example of a policy that had unforeseen negative consequences is redlining. While redlining was a financial strategy enacted by mortgage lenders, insurance agencies, and others, it has led to many unintended health outcomes.
