Assignment:

Pick one of these cases, which we may know about, and read at least the summary of the case. Then, I want you to:

1: Summarize the facts of the case briefly - two or three sentences is ok, but include in your discussion the facts that become important to the Court's decision.

2. Then, summarize the primary holding of the case - tell me what the primary holding by the Supreme Court was in the case. This may take a little writing because you have to tell me not only the outcome but why the Court ruled the way it did. Note the vote of the Court and who wrote the opinion.

3. Tell the class why you agree with the outcome based on specific facts in the case or why you don't and whether it seemed fair.
