Question:- Brittany is a literature teacher at a private academy in Brentwood that has students from Grades 6-12. Although a prestigious position, the salary is less than what Brittany could earn at public schools. In order to supplement her income, Brittany started a blog/website for erotic literature readers -- she works on the blog from home and uses her private computer. In the past year, in order to allow for more interaction because of pandemic lockdowns, Brittany also allowed registers members of her blog community to post on the website. Some posted videos related to erotica and links to some graphic content. Some of the students at Brittany's school discovered the blog and her connection to it, and it has become a topic of conversation. Conservative parents viewed the website and its contents and have demanded that the academy discipline Brittany or fire her for exposing the students to what the parents consider inappropriate material. Brittany will have no recourse against her employer, if it complies with the parents' request.
