Question: What the following little story says about the writers personality?

The man looks like he is mourning the woman's death. Maybe she was very sick and slowly passed away while he was there holding her hand or maybe he killed her. Perhaps something happened and the man had no choice but to kill her and that is why he has his arm over his face. He feels guilty. Usually, when someone dies you try to leave the body a certain way, a comfortable way but in this case, the arm is hanging on the side of the bed touching the floor and her chest is out and the man has not fixed it.
