Active listening is an important skill in coaching. The ability to listen to a client or potential client and demonstrate that you have heard them meaningfully by paraphrasing what they have said is invaluable.

Review the Attending, Paraphrasing and Summarizing video, located in Topic 5 resources. Create a client scenario and make a video recording of the scenario and post the text and link for your peers.
Respond to one of your peers by responding to the text or by recording a response video. Restate in your own words what the "client" was trying to communicate about their needs. In your response, include possible questions you would ask the client and strategies that come to mind.
