Scenario 1: You are teaching a group of 10 women who are all 7 - 9 months pregnant how to change a flat tire on their car. You have access to a car, a tire, and all the necessary tools.
Scenario 2: You are talking to an 8th grade class at the local junior high about the dangers of texting and driving. You are in the school's auditorium, and there are about 150 8th graders in the audience. The school's principal asked you to do the presentation because she is worried about these 8th graders getting their licenses in the next year, and wants them to be aware of safety issues.
Scenario 3: You have been asked by a local country club to teach a group of retired men how to swing a golf club. There are 6 men at the lesson, and they are all in their 70s.
Scenario 4: You've been called by the local high school to discuss with the parents of student athletes the new policy at the school: testing all high school athletes for drug use. You will speak to these parents at an evening meeting at the high school's cafeteria, and you've heard rumors that these parents are angry about this new policy.
Scenario 5: A group of older men meet at the local diner every Saturday morning for breakfast and a discussion of current events. They are all cattle farmers, and they've heard a lot in the news recently about vegetarian diets and vegetarian burgers like the impossible burger. They've asked you to join them for breakfast to explain to them the value of a vegetarian lifestyle. There will be 8 men at breakfast, and they are all in their 50s, except for one man who is in his 20s.
Scenario 6: A group of elderly women meet every Thursday at 2:00 pm at the local library to knit together. They share the projects they are currently working on, and knit in each other's company, sharing stories of their lives and current happenings in their life. One of the lady's granddaughter recently talked to her about "Facebook" and now the ladies are interested in learning about Facebook. You've been called upon to teach this group about Facebook. There are 6 or 7 ladies who attend, and when you meet with them, you have access to the library's computer lab, which has 10 computers available for you to use if you like.
Scenario 7: You've been asked to teach a local first grade class how to make a healthy breakfast. There are 25 students in the class, and the school has agreed to pay for any groceries you bring to class to use in your lesson.
