Back in the 1980's and 1990's Starter Sports Apparel was the Under Armour of that era. It was the leading licensed sports apparel manufacturer and its brand was viewed as 2nd only to Nike as the most authentic sports brand. The company was growing fast when it ran into some challenges that are outlined in the case which ultimately led to a bankruptcy filing.
