A strain gauge is used at a temperature far above where it is calibrated.

The parameters of operation are given by:

Input voltage for strain gauge bridge = 10 volts

Output voltage for strain gauge bridge = .07 volts

Gauge factor for strain gauges at 20°C = 2

Elevated temperature where gauge is used = 120°C

Temperature Coefficient of Gauge Factor (TCGF) = 115 x 10-6 (1/°C)
