You must choose a specific gender norm to break, be sure it is a relatively minor one, what sociologists refer to as a 'folkway' (e.g. wearing clothing or even a color appropriate for the other gender). You are encouraged to work with a 'confederate' (someone from class or a friend) to record any bystander reactions to your norm violation as well as your own behaviors during the experiment.
