To be admitted to the Officer Candidate School (OCS), the college graduate must score in the top 85% of all those taking the exam. Last year the mean exam score was 82, with a standard deviation of 8. Exam scores were normally distributed. What should the minimum passing score be set at to admit only the top 78%?
