Steam enters a nozzle with a diameter of 4 inches at a velocity of 500 ft/min, pressure of 60psig and temperature of 350deg F. It is to leave the nozzle at 5 psig pressure and a temperature of 250 deg F. What should the diameter of the nozzle outlet be in inches and what is the mass flow rate of steam through the nozzle in lbm/min?
