Problem

Pierce Wedgewood, the manager of a candle company's specialty candle line, as well as the grandson of the company's CFO, came into the controller, Josey's office to inform her that he has a meeting later and that he is an unexperienced negotiator facing experienced negotiators, so he wants her to not only send him the summary numbers but the more detailed calculations that her team runs in order to even out his playing fields. He doesnt want her to send them out, but wants her to only give it to him? Is there an ethical issue in this scenario? Explain. What should she say to Pierce, assuming that she feels that it would be unfair for her to provide numbers to only one participant in the negotiations. What could she say to him to convince him that she is right?
