In fact as of early 1990s, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is the leading cause of Intellecutal and Developmental Disabilities (formerly Mental Retardation). If a mom-to-be is a known alcoholic, what should be done to provide the best outcomes? Consider this from both mom's rights and child's quality of life.
