GUIDELINES:
1. Watch the video provided in the assessment folder.
2. Complete the milestone checklist for motor development (18-30 months) provided in the assessment folder. Complete the checklist on the child featured in the video. Her name is Kalista. The video is shot over time, so what she is wearing changes from scene to scene.
3. Record "Y" when:
• You see evidence that the Kalista has achieved the skill.
• Provide one or more detailed examples to supportyour assessment. Each appropriate example is worth.
Record "N" when:
• You do not see any evidence of the skill. No example is required.
Record "Sometimes" when:
• You see Kalista demonstrating the skill inconsistently - sometimes she is successful and sometimes she isn't
• Provide two or more detailed examples to support your assessment One examnle must document when she demonstrates the skill and one example must document when she is having difficulty demonstrating the skill. Each appropriate example is worth.
4. After completing the checklist, write:
• A one-page (double-spaced) summary of inferences concerning Kalista's fine motor development
• A one-page (double-spaced) summary of inferences concerning Kalista's gross motor development
• Remember to write your inferences objectively and support them by referring to the checklist and/or the textbook and.
5. Add your 2-page summary of inferences, your title page and your references to your completed checklist.
6. Save the electronic file to a memory stick.
7. Submit/upload your completed assignment to Blackboard as one document
