1) What roles did your mother/female guardian play in your household? Discuss parenting (domestic labor) and work (paid labor).

2) Did observing/witnessing her impact your perception of women? (Consider her behaviors and practices, rather than what she 'told' you)

3) What constructs about female gender, what women can and should do, did she explicitly teach you? (Now consider what she 'told' you)

4) Value systems: If you were raised around traditional gender values about women/gender, what types of experiences have / who has contradicted those ideals for you? If you were raised in with more egalitarian values about gender what types of opportunities were you afforded to combat traditional values?

5) Do you think we still need more social effort for women's equality in the home?
