His only health concern is asthma, which is well controlled with daily preventative medication. He describes himself as a "drinker of no more than three martinis a day. His older brother died of lung cancer three years ago. He is very angry, saying that his entire healthy life was a "waste" ability to continue serving as a deacon, which requires public speaking He asks if you think God is angry with him He is scheduled to have a hemilaryngectomy operation.
