Case Study: Throughout this course, I have learned about the evolving role of human resources and their impact on company(s). The traditional HR functions of personnel and administration have transformed into a more strategic and diverse role, encompassing the entire employee lifecycle. I believe that the most important topics in this course include talent attraction, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and learning and development. In my future career, I will apply what I have learned in this course to develop proactive HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and values. I will prioritize diversity and inclusion practices by promoting diversity in hiring, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and providing diversity training and education to employees. I believe that human resource responsibilities will continue to evolve in the next three, five, or ten years due to several factors, such as advancements in technology, globalization, changing demographics, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be a growing need for HR professionals to address mental health and well-being issues, as employees face increasing stress and burnout due to work-related and personal factors.
